The 3 B's

It's the most wonderful time of the year...right? I love this time of year. I love Christmas, Christmas decorations, baking Christmas cookies, buying people presents, watching Christmas movies, carolers (which hardly exist these days!) and surrounding myself with family and friends. Oh, and I love that I am taking 12 days off from work this year-best.present.ever.

The 3 B's...I am sure some of you were thinking 'where is Erin going with this'...well here you go~

Blessings: I have SO much to be thankful for. I am blessed to have the best parents ever. Super supportive and allow me to be the person I am without questioning my decisions (or at least not too many questions!). I am blessed to have an amazing family as well. We are lucky because we have a lot of fun (& laughs!) when we all get together. I enjoy spending time with my siblings, their significant others & my super awesome nephews and nieces. I also have some of the best friends a girl could ask for.

Busy Season: Yes indeed! Not just because of the holidays though. Work is constantly busy-don't even get me started there. But, since I am getting ready to embrace a HUGE life change I am constantly working on all the documents for that too. Needless to say December is busier than I would like it to be-only because I truly want to enjoy the holiday season (since clearly I LOVE Christmas in case you missed that at the top!!!). I am reminding myself I just have to get through this week. And then, I can just focus on TEFL, Christmas & family-and that is okay with me! Also, just knowing that come January 1 the certification will be done & I will know so much more about my future makes me feel better during this busy time (I remind myself daily to keep my eye on the prize!).

Big Changes: Well, another chapter is about to close in my life. And very soon another will open. I embrace change, always have, and am excited about the future and what is to come. I've enjoyed (& learned a LOT) during my last 4 years at the American Heart Association and will forever be grateful. However, as the saying goes it is the 'end of an era.' One of my favorite quotes pretty much sums it up: as one door closes another door opens yet often we spend so much time staring at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us.

Welcome to my blog...hope you enjoy the ride~
